Prestige is a timing question
Prestige should make the next run faster or unlock meaningful progress. If the reset only returns you to the same wall, wait for another upgrade, a better rune, or a stronger permanent benefit.
Good reset signs
A good reset usually follows a real slowdown, not a moment of impatience. The permanent benefit should pay back the time required to rebuild.
Check before you reset
Use a simple three-part check. First, ask whether the next broad upgrade is close enough to buy without a long wait. Second, ask whether the prestige reward improves the first minutes of the rebuild or opens a new route. Third, check whether a useful rune or code reward should be used before reset. If two of those answers are unclear, keep the current run alive a little longer.
A practical reset example
If your income has flattened, the next purchase is far away, and the permanent reward will make the rebuild faster, prestige is likely the cleaner choice. If you are one short push from an upgrade that improves the whole setup, buy it first, then compare the new pace before resetting.
After the reset
Do not try to recreate every old purchase immediately. Rebuild the base Oof loop, redeem any current codes that still work, and use the first new wall to decide whether upgrades, runes, Factory, Minions, or another prestige layer deserves attention.
