Noob Incremental beginner guide

Start with the verified loop: Noobs create Oof, Oof buys progress, upgrades push walls back, runes shape routes, and prestige deepens the next run.

Step 1

Redeem codes first

Free rewards matter most before the first wall. Use the codes page, then start routing.

Step 2

Build stable Oof flow

Buy affordable Noobs until the next purchase slows, then shift into whole-setup upgrades.

Step 3

Treat runes as tools

Keep a rune when it solves the bottleneck you actually feel right now.

Step 4

Prestige with purpose

Reset when the permanent benefit makes the next run meaningfully faster.

First-session route

A clean first session is not about rushing every menu. Redeem current codes, buy enough Noobs to keep Oof moving, then pause when the next purchase starts taking noticeably longer. At that point, compare broad upgrades, Soldier Noob progress, and Tree requirements before spending rewards.

If you unlock runes, test one short run before changing everything. If prestige appears, ask whether the permanent gain will make the first few minutes after reset faster. When the answer is unclear, keep building the current route and use the planner to name the bottleneck.

Common mistakes to avoid

Spending every reward instantly

Hold boost-style rewards until they finish a visible requirement, unlock, or rebuild goal.

Buying only the most expensive unit

A broad upgrade that improves the whole setup can beat one flashy purchase.

Rerolling without a test

Compare time-to-upgrade before and after a rune change instead of judging by rarity alone.

Resetting too early

Prestige should save time on the next climb; if the rebuild is slower, wait.
